I got a 1990 chevy cavalier z24 3.1 multi port with about 340,000kms on the motor and transmission. I was wondering if a 1993 chevy cavalier rs 2.2 motor would work in my car? The mounts are the same. I got all the wiring from the 2.2 . I know the exhaust and the computer needs to be changed. What else do I need to know is order for me to get this to work?

Best of my knowledge, You might need to weld motor mounts in a different place, Basically u might need to fsb a little bit of things, With computer and wiring harness, U should be set, Ive done 89 tempest 2.8L V6 motor swap into a 89 cavalier RS with no problems, Just needed the wiring harness, ECU, And adapter metal bracket for the tranny off the tempest.

Thanks:) :D What about the exhaust? Will I need a different exhaust because i'm changing from a 6 to a 4 cyl?

I believe the stock 2 inch exhaust should work for you, I cant see it not working.
