I think I can see the thermostat housing but im unsure as I have never worked on one before. How do I replace the thermostat?

Drain the system, remove bolts holding housing. make sure engine is cool so not to get burned. remove bolts then remove housing. after removing the thermastat clean all the old gasket off good. put new thermastat in housing and replace with new gasket. be careful when putting back in and make sure gasket is in right. replace bolts. put new collant in rad and start engine check for any leaks.
