Upper radiator hose developed leak and was replaced. Since then, antifreeze will leak sporadically, sometimes from the left and sometimes from the right side, but not all the time. Also, since replacing the hose, when the heater or rear defroster is turned on, all of the panel lights come on, and all the guages die. Are the two related?

Check all the hoses in the cooling system, make sure they are tight and not bulging.
If OK, then you may have to replace thermostat.
Check waterpump weep hole for coolant, if present the WP will need to be replaced.

As to the electrical problem, if you spilled coolant on any electrical connection, you may have caused a short.
