Well it isn't as difficult as you would think.
1) Remove steering wheel
2) Remove the cover around the column
3) Remove the screws that hold the switch in and remove the switch.
To remove the steering wheel you must disable the air bags here is how to do that.
1) turn wheel straight ahead. Turn off key and remove key.
2) Remove the fuse access panel and remove the SIR fuse (15 amp).
3) Remove the connector position assurance clip and disconnect the two pin yellow connector from the drivers side air bag (pic included below). When done replacing switch put it all back together in reverse order.
