My dashboard does not light up.

I would check in the fuse panel located on the left hand side of the lower dashboard, right where the door seals to it. You will see an access panel there. Pull the cover off and you will have a diagram on the inside of that cover. Look for the one that says INST LPS and find the correlating fuse, pull it out and see if it is blown or not. This should be a 10 amp mini fuse.
