What engine is in the vehicle the 2.0 L or 2.2 L? Is that all that was done just a starter replacement?

You may have blown a fuse or a fusible link that is located in the wire off the starter Solenoid usually red in color.

Its a 2.4 liter twin cam and it cranks all day the starter works so I dont think that its a fuse. It just wont start. Possible cam sensor, or crank sensor? Or fuel filter or fuel pump? I can hear it pump when I turn the key, but it wont fire. Its driving me nuts.

Take a screwdriver, one with good insulation. A phillips if you can, place inside the plug wire and have someone
turn the ignition key. Hold the screwdriver, metal part about a 1/4 inch from engine ground. There should be a bright blue spark. Let me know what happens.
