Sir,

Last month my car was beginning to run hot. I got a new thermostat and water pump put on it. When I started it up this morning to warm up in a 15 degree temp, it start running hot. Not where it start fuming, but when my son and I got in the car, there was no heat, and I notice the hand going over to the red. Is it a possibility that my antifreeze was froze and it ran hot or could there be something else wrong?

Is cooling fan coming on? If not then fan is bad or fan switch.

The heater core could also be blocked. Check hoses to core when engine is hot, both should be hot, if one is cool/cold then heater core is blocked.
