my head lights go on for about 5 minutes when I first start driving at night then they just go off. Could it be the battery? Or just a fuse

Sounds like there is a short in the wiring. Check your voltage at the headlights and follow the wiring back and see when the break is at. Also check for a loose connection at the headlight switch
