1991 Chevy Cavalier Blinkers are malfunctioning

Hello. I've had my car for a month now, and when I first got it, my blinkers worked fine, but I was notified that they sometimes didn't work. Well, recently, my blinkers started to malfunction. A few days ago, my right and left blinkers just quit. However, my caution lights work just fine. Last night, as I was driving home, I turned on my signal out of habit, and my blinker didn't work. As I turned into my road, my blinker came on. What could the problem be?
