sometimes my blinkers work fine and others the blinkers operate intermittantly. All the bulbs show the signal but I must contiue the manual operation of the blinker arm. Any suggestions?

If the bulb's come on solid and don't flash and you have to flash them by turning the switch on and off then i would check the turn signal flasher.

That's near the steering column.
