1993 Chevy Caprice Smoke comin from exhaust

I wanna buy this 93' caprise but the person sellin says when car is started it smokes from exhaust pipe, and while drivin it too it smokes what can the problem be

Depends what color is smoke, but if I were you I save my money and keep looking for another car. They r selling it because they know its bad. Those car r really good vehicles but keep looking for one that runs good and dont smoke at all. If you get it youll end up spending more money on it. There many caprice cars out there for decent prices and running good. Good luck
