Hi, I've recently change the fan relay and it seems to be loose. The fans won't run automatically and the car would over heat. I took to check the fuse box and the fan relay wiring and it all seemed fine. However, the problem is still there, but whenever I tap or hit the relay from the top the fans would work fine. I can't keep doing that and drive in the fear of overheating and damaging the engine. What's the solution? I have changed the whole fuse box and the fan relay is new! Please I need a fix that I can do on my own as no repair shop seems to solve the problem... Thanks a lot...

there are 3 relays for the cooling fan, you still may have a bad one if you have to hit it. if the fuse box is damaged then you'll either have to get another fuse box or fix the one that you have in order to make it work right. the diagram that i'm sending shows where things are. you should be able to blow this up ans it's a jpg.

Thanks for the info and diagram... I took the fuse box out of place and it turned out that one of the wires needed replacement. The fan works fine now... I just hope no more wires get eatin' up from the heat... To be honest, I am still afraid to drive my Z28 in the afternoon... I think it should be fine now... I guess I'll need to be brave about it and just do it :D I just love my baby way too much!
