1997 camaro stalling

1997 Chevrolet Camaro, 72,000 miles, 3.8 L V6
It stalls sometimes. It doesn't seem to matter if it is running at highway speed or idling. It just shuts off. I had the EGR valve replaced because the error code indicated that was the problem, but it did not correct the problem. I would appreciate any feedback or experience you may have with this problem. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Are there any other symtoms? If no try replacing the crankshaft position sensor. If yes like lights or gauges out let us know!

I replaced the crankshaft sensor and the car has been trouble free for a month.
