95 Z28 NEW DISTRIBUTOR, NEW IGNITION CONTROL MODULE. TUNED UP AND NEW FUEL PUMP RELAY. WOULD RUN FOR 10 MINUTES THEN DIE. NO SPUTTERING OR SPITTING. NOW WILL NOT START, TURNS OVER FINE AND CAN REALLY SMELL A LOT OF FUEL.
HELP PLEASE

I appreciate the troubleshooting guide that you forwarded but my problem is that everything checks out fine, all ignition components are new. Car cranks and runs fine for anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. If I wait 10 15 minutes it will crank back up but will die again. Im not a stupid man but this has me baffled.

the only thing I can add is that there is a strong fuel smell under the hood after it dies and I try to recrank but I assumed that its just filling the cylinders as there is no spark. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Jim

Disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Check the fuel pressure and get back with me with the readings-fuel pressure regulator could be leaking or injectors
