Hello,

My 95 3.4L Camaro's heating rises close to overheating while in park, but when I drive it for about a minute or a little less it will cool back down to the normal operating temp.

Im really confused as to what could be the problem but it would make sense if there was a cooling problem.

I have checked the coolant level and it is fine and the oil is fine aswell

Thanks in advanced for any help you might have,
Ryan

Ryan, does the car have a fan clutch attached to the water pump or electric cooling fans? IF it overheats when sitting still, which ever one you have isn't working properly.

Let me know.
Joe
