1992 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi my son's car won't start. We have replaced the fuel filter, the spark plugs, and the coil and the car will turn over but won't spark. Can you give me some idea of what else we can chedk? Oh yes, we also checked that the metal on the key that's part of the anti-theft device is ok.

Make sure that your wire going to the distributor is getting power. If it is then come back to the site here and look under tune up. It will give you step by step on how to check things so that you can get spark. Make sure you have no engine codes you can do that by crossing A & B on the aldl and counting teh srvice engine light flashes. It will flash 3 times each code. 1 and 2 equal code 12 which means everything is ok. And then you can come back again and look under OBD1 and it will tell you what to check. Even if no codes show check the crank sensor and cam sensor as they can be bad even though there is no code for it.
