I have a 1972 chevy blazer with a crate 350. It is a project car. I am learning as I go. I am having starting issues. I have changed the starter, alternator and battery. I can successfully start it by using jumper cables but it will not start on its own. What am I missing to diagnose and fix the problem. Any help will be appriciated.

Thanks

Load test the battery if it can handle 9.6 volts by cranking it over for 10secs using the starter as a loading device your okay, if not replace the battery-battery checks out

Now run direct power to the coil positive terminal from the battery positive terminal if it fires up-test the igniton switch ignition circuit its coming from there. Then comeback

Battery cables from and to are they cleaned and tight?
