2000 Chevy Blazer undercarrage noise

Noises problem
2000 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my blazer has started making a loud noise when i put it in gear but when i put it in park the noise stops.it seems to be coming from the exhaust system .but only when im at a stop , when i drive i cant hear it any more it is a clanking noise . can you help?

check the shield on the Catalytic Converter also check all your hangers to make sure they're ok if it is the shield on converter there's not much that can be done but replace the catalytic converter

as long as your not in california you can use a Universal fit just let parts store know what you have like year make model and engine size they can get you the wright one in my area it cost $78.00
