When I add antifreeze to the radiator it pours out of the passenger side of the engine towards the rear of the engine. I'm thinking this is the freeze plug and if so how hard is it to replace. ( I live in the north east)

Hello -

It depends on where it is located. If it is under the exhaust manifold it will be a little tricky. Can you take a pic and send or attach?

All you need is to put a 90 degree tool in the center and pull out. The ones they make you can either replace with a metal that you drive in with a hammer or a rubber type that as you tighten the nut it causes the rubber to compress and take up the space.

Does this help you out any?

Yes it does leak out behind the exhaust manifold. Do I have to pull the manifold or do I have enough room to replace. Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate you taking the time to help.

Hello -

Well - that is hard to say since I can't really see it. Maybe if you can send a pic. Or you may have to just jump in there and see what you can do.....

Me - I would try to do with the manifold on first. Then if I had to remove the do that. Now with that is it under the manifold or the exhaust pipe that connects to the manifold?
