I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with over 200,000 miles that has started leaking coolant. To me it looks like it is coming from the engine behind the air conditioning compressor. What could this be? I had another person look at it and he said he thought it was coming from the back of the motor and running to the front. Also, about 2 weeks before it started leaking my boyfriend heard a gurgle coming from the front of the truck. I still have heat, if that helps you any.

Next I would examine all the hoses for cracks and holes look all aroudn wehre the hoses go in to the engien and out
make sure theres no leaks coming out from a improperly tighted hose or a crack or puncture. If there is none take off the water pump and check for a cracked seal or bad headgasket

Well, no leaking hoses. It's coming from the head gasket. :( How much do you think that will cost me, and is it even worth it? Thanks.

Head gasket is not expensive at all nor hard to do. It is A MUST. All it is is a bad gasket replace it and it should run like new. If that doesnt fix it then we may have to suspect the water pump, little more expensive.

I replaced the water pump just 2 years ago. Could it be bad already? It definately looks like the head gasket though. I'm gonna get it done this weekend. I'll let you know if I still have problems. Thanks alot for all your help.
