Hi, I have a chevy Blazer 1995 4.3 v6 vortec engine. The car won't start unless I use starter fliud and have to keep pressure on the pedal or it drops and it stalls.

Acouple of codes came on and I changed the part. It was EGR and igintion module. I also just changed the coil maybe two months ago as well. I changed both, the fulel filter which was very clogged. I also checked the fule pressure aon the schareader valve and it was at 40 psi and changed the fuel filter. I then changed the fuel pressure regualtor and yet it is very hard to start.
So, I then switched the feul pressure sensors and it seemed to run a lilttle better, but I also noticed that I hear a ringing sound coming from the fuel pump with half a tank of gas.

So I am baffled what the problem can be.

Yeah, just recently the check engin light came on once again. I'm beginning to think the computer might be bad. But I just changed the wires and rotor. The rotor was black and the wires were old. I also just changed the fuel relay sensor.

So total I have changed the

Ignition module,
fuel filter,
EGR vavle,
wires,
spark plugs,
rotor
fuel relay sensor
the coil was jst changed 2months ago code came up. So I'm still baffled? Can nit be the throttle position sensor?

Have you checked the for vacuum leaks, and fuel pressure? Especially fuel pressure drop off?

No I have checked for a vaccum leak yet. I don't have the diagrams for that. And yes I did change the fuel pressure regulator.

Actually fuel pressure drop off happens when there is a leak in the system. THe pressure drops off when the key is shut. THe system should maintain the pressure so it starts easier.

As far as a vacuum leak, just check under the hood for damaged or disconnected hoses. Also, if the engine is running, you may actually hear a hissing noise.
