1988 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

The truck runs great sometimes, but I out some fuel treatment in it, and followed all the directions and made sure it was done right. But now to start it I have to hold the gas to the floor and flood it, then to keep it running I have to hold the gas in otherwise it just dies out on me. Any suggestions on the problem and how to fix it?

How long since a tune-up? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand auto stores used to loan out a gage. Any applicable trouble codes? If your tbi, does the injector/s spray pattern look ok? Check the iac and clean the throttle-body.
