1990 Chevy Beretta No Spark

I bought the vehicle a few months ago and it ran great. It sat for a while now i have no spark. I pulled the plugs abd tried cranking with the plug touching a bolt on engine cover... no spark.. Tried two different plug wires. same. What is my next step? coil? ig mod?

Does the starter turn? Have you checked all the plugs? If I'm not mistaken, the 1990 V6 had coil packs instead of a distributer.

Usually, there are 3 coil packs, 2 plug connectors per coil pack. Look for where the spark plug wires hook into.

You might have a bad coil pack. I know on my 1998 Firebird, I had 2 coil packs quit.
