This is a service van, is used every day. Once every other week or so, the starter turns over the engine very well, but the engine will not start. Then, stand around, kick the tires, go to lunch & come back. It will start every time. It will be fine maybe for weeks, then when you least expect it. It will not start. (Note: once running in town or at highway speeds, ie 75 mph or so. No problem)

Dealer Service diagnostics have not found a problem.
Fuel Pump pressure is normal. After 2 days in shop, Dealer could not make the van fail to start. The very next day, we could not start the van. After an hour or so, it did start. Now is starting fine.

Problem is currently unpredictable. Suggestions?

Hi
Beinging intermittent makes diagnosis tricky. When it is no start pull a plug wire see if spark? I know that's a pain on van but. If spark then spray some carb cleaner in intake see if it fires. Does it do this more when engine is at operating temp? You could try replacing the Ignition Control Module located on valve cover right behind alternator.
Let me know
Thanks for donate
