Hi guys once again, I'm having issues with my car listed above. The other day I was sitting idling and suddenly my car cut out a few times then shut off. I went to start it again and the battery was drained and upon jumping it the car it still wouldn't start. I ended up having to replace the battery and even after that it cranks but still won't start. It has plenty of gas and I don't know what's going on. Help me please!

Yep, we can help, it sounds like the crankshaft angel sensor has gone out. You can use a scanner and look at engine RPMs when cranking to see if you get a rotational speed and if not, the sensor is bad. Here is a video that can help you tell if the problem is fuel or ignition system related:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXLJbuAZ4CE&t

The crankshaft sensor is easy to replace because it does not need a relearn. Here is the location of the sensor, when you are checking the scanner data you can see if there are any other codes that can help us. If you upload a short video of the engine cranking, I can tell if the engine is hurt or not.

Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Does the engine have spark? Will it run on starting fluid? Can you please go over the video again?

The mechanic said he put a rag soaked in gas over the intake and it started for a second but once fumes were gone it quit. I will watch the video again though.

Can you show me where the fuel pump relay is? I found the fuel pump fuse but is there a relay? Sometimes when I turn the key to the on position the pump sounds kind of weak, sometimes it sounds strong. Could that have something to do with the way it's not starting?

It sure can, here is the location of the relay which they call the PGM-FI main relay 2 which is in the fuse panel inside the car. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
