My car does not start in the morning. It cranks like it wants to start but I hear a slip noise and when it starts it squeaks then it goes away. The car will start first time after that until the morning. Would it be the drive belt slipping? This is a diesel tdi.

Hello,

It sounds like it could be a coolant temperature sensor but to be sure lets scan for codes.

and

Please let us know what you find.
