My car just make a single click noise when I tried starting it today which is just from the internal accessories turning on inside the vehicle. What is the problem here do you think? I have a new battery and it is charged. Just got a battery a month ago or less. Although the last month or two the car has been cranking quite a bit more than usual before it was starting all the way up. But now there is nothing going on? Is this by chance the starter that needs replaced?

If the battery is fully charged, then at the single thin wire at starter check for battery voltage. You will need an assistant for that. With a test light, unplug the solenoid wire. Probe it with a test light and have your assistant turn the key like starting it.

If the test light lites up, manually turn engine over. If it turns over then the starter is bad.

If I may jump in here, I would start with simply making sure that the terminal connections are super clean and tight. They should be tight enough that you simply cannot turn them by hand at all. I would also make sure that the connection at the starter is equally tight. With the new battery in there, it is quite possible that the cables were not fully tightened, and got a little too loose with the constant shaking and vibrating of the car.
