Car will not start

I have a rental, so I don't know its prior history. About an hour ago, when I tried to start the car, the alarm kept going off and I was unable to start it. After letting it sit for an hour, I come back to try and start it again. This time, the alarm doesn't go off, but the car won't even attempt to crank. All the lights are on and the A/C works, and the key fob can lock and unlock the car fine.

Hi,

Do me a favor, it sounds like the battery could be the issue. First, is the model year indicated correctly? If so, I want you to try load testing the battery. It's very easy to do and requires no tooling. Follow this link.
