Hello, It was overheating as I was on my way to work. As I was about to pull over, the car just shut off on me. Which I thought had to do with the overheating. It started to do this clicking sound when I turned the key in the ignition. We tried jumper cables but no luck. A new starter and battery was put in. No clicking sound anymore. The engine sounds like it wants to turn over, but it does not turn over or stay on. What could be the issue here?

Hello,

The first thing you need to check is your oil. Check for over full and if it looks like milk chocolate if it does then most like you have a blown head gasket. If seems okay, then next remove the plugs keeping track of where the plug wires go. Check plugs as you remove for coolant if cannot tell have someone try turning vehicle over, stand back because could be full of coolant and will spray everywhere.

If either of above you do have a blown head gasket.

Respond back if need further help.
