More than likely your battery has a shorted cell in it which means it doesn't have the minimum amount of voltage needed to keep the car running. You will need to replace the battery in order to fix this. You should also check the alternator to make sure it has not failed. If it has then your new battery will fail as well.
If you go to a parts store and purchase the battery, most will test your alternator for you as well. You will most likely have a core charge on the old battery which means they will charge you extra until you return the old one. Once you do, they will give you that money back. When you return the old battery ask them to test the alternator and they should be able to.
