Car will not start after being in an accident?

My aunt just recently got into an accident in my car, not too much damage but the from bumper did come off and it’s a little scraped up, so I tried to start it and it won’t start I’ve tried to boost it and it still won’t start but it sounds like it wants to, any suggestions on what could be the issue.

Do you mean the engine won't crank over (starter) or the start works but the engine will not run? please check out this guide to get us started:
