My car was starting perfectly fine. Pulled it into Jiffy Lube to get an oil change and when they were done my car would not start. It does not make any noise at all. Check the battery, alternator, and starter and they all work fine. The lights still come on but my drivers window will not go up. The day before I had my water pump replaced but it was still starting. I did notice my car was doing a very light feeling of it feeling as though it was catching like if I were to set my cruise control but other than that I did not notice anything. When I bought the car I noticed the theft light was on but it has never stopped it from starting and I believe I have had the the car for about three years. Some of the fuses where glanced at but not all of them were properly checked. Everyone thinks it might be because of the theft system or the ignition or whatever it is called not being able to read the chip in my key since it is not making any sound at all. I am guessing it is a fuse since the window will not go up. By the way my car has a lot of miles on it but I have no idea how many. That is all I can think of. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Try a security system reset it may have gone off if they disconnected battery to clean it. these are not places to get oil changes and other service done most any garage can do it just as well if not better because they mostly do safety checks as well. See link.

I have one more question. Will the reset work since I am unable to put my window up?

Yes, once it resets it should start. Window does not matter.
