MY DAUGHTERS 2000 TAURUS HAD A BAD BATTERY SO I REPLACED IT ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO, A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO SHE SAID IT WAS GETTING HARD TO START, LAST NIGHT IT WOULD NOT START, TODAY I WENT TO CHECK IT OUT AND IT TURNS OVER FINE BUT IT WILL NOT FIRE, IT DOSENT EVEN SEEM LIKE IT WANTS TO FIRE, CAN YOU HELP?

Check the wire to the crank sensor on the front of the engine(right side of car) push it on tight then re try!

YOUR ADVICE WAS SPOT ON, I REMOVED THE CONNECTOR AND PUT IT BACK ON AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP, SO I PUT SOME DIELECTRIC GREASE IN IT AND REINSTALLED IT AND IT IS RUNNING FINE, THANKS AGAIN
