I just purchased a car today and it was driving perfect then all of a sudden it would not go. The rpm would go up but the car would not move. The clutch sounds fine. No weird smells, I can hear the gears change perfectly. I do not know what it could be.

Hello,

This sounds like you have one of two problems, first the clutch disc has failing apart which can make no sound and not work at all or you have broken one of the drive axles. Here is a couple of guides that will give you an idea to fix the problem.
