So I left my car idling for 10 minutes while I talked to my friend. When I got in my car the coolant light came on. I drove my car home the light went off, but now it won't start. Could the coolant keep it from starting? It didn't look low but I'm not that great with cars.

Good morning,

The coolant light usually indicates the level in the surge tank is low. I would fill the tank and pressure test the system to see if there are any leaks.

To run, you need fuel pressure, spark, and compression. I attached some guides for you to view to check these systems to determine the area of failure.

I attached the fuel pressure specs below. You can rent a tester at a parts store for the test.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Well, I really messed up. I was trying to replace the coolant temperature sensor and it snapped off so when trying to get the remaining out of the sensor it got tapped into the engine. So, I appreciate the help but I'm just going to send it on its way.
