Hi,
Usually a click is either a weak battery or a bad connection. First start by checking battery terminal connections to confirm they are both clean and tight.

Next, load test the battery. Here is a link that shows how it is done without a tester:

If you have good power from the battery and the terminals are in good condition, we need to check if there is power to the S wire on the starter solenoid. I attached a pic of the starter and wiring. Note that the wire at the starter is white. It should have 12v only when the key is in the start position. You will need a helper to check this. Here is a link that explains how it is done:

If there is power to the S connector on the starter solenoid when the key is in the start position and you have 12v to the larger wire all the time, replace the starter.
