Car stalls at various speeds on road

My car has been stalling at various speeds on the road. Lights come on and everything just dies, I lose all power including steering. There is no warning and no codes are stored. No check engine lights either. Since this started happening my door ajar light stays on constantly. You have to turn all lights off with dimmer switch. Battery continuously drains as well. Any ideas would be great!
