Car idles but will not run over 2,400 RPMs?

I've replaced the timing belt, cam sensor and crank sensor. Timing is correct, car starts right up. But when I give it gas it revs to 2,400 RPMs then shuts off.

Good morning,

This could be a couple of things.

The catalytic converter may be clogged, not allowing the engine to breathe. You could drop the head pipe at the exhaust manifold and see if it revs any higher.

The other reason could be lack of fuel pressure from the fuel pump. You would need to test the fuel pressure to verify.
