I was driving my car (it is the sedan) in the pouring rain, the car ran fine then I went to turn right and it kind of felt like I had no steering for a split second very weird. I have owned this car for four years and never had this happen before.

If it was a one time incident then there is nothing you can do for now unless it is doing it every time you turn right. If it was raining what may have happened was the belt got wet and slipped making it hard to turn? Check the belt tension-er and make sure it is putting tension on belt. Using a wrench loosen tension and make sure tension-er goes back. If it is binding or does not retract back properly then replace the tension-er.
