Hi,

I want to replace the belt tensioner for my car listed above V6. The problem is that there is one screw for the belt tensioner behind the power steering pulley and I was unable to remove the power steering pulley. Please I need support in this and if possible with diagram.

Regards.

Hi,

Removing a power steering pump pulley will require a special tool for both the removal and installation of the pulley. I realize most people don't own one, but most parts stores will lend one to you. If you look at pic 1 below, it shows the tool I'm referring to.

If you take a look through the following link, it explains the procedure for the removal and replacement of the pulley.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
