Should any leaks have been fixed or should any leaks have been found when the phasers were replaced? I began smelling oil and then the ticking sound when starting the motor every morning. Ford says that it’s the cam phasers. I had the cam phasers replaced, and now they tell me after I began to smell, even stronger smell of burnt oil, that rings and all kinds of stuff is going on with the manifold and stuff like that. They’re saying that they now have to replace the cam phases along with all these rings.

Yes, they should have given you a full report and the problems you informed them of, and not do a part of the work and then tell you there is more to do, bad practice on Ford's part. I would call Ford customer support, and they will contact the dealer and resolve the issue.

I contacted the Ford dealership and then Ford customer service, no resolve. They basically said sorry for your luck. They’ll write a bad review for the Stanley Ford. But no help for any of the cost of now replacing the cam phasers or any other parts again and all of the rings everything else that goes along with it. So, I paid the $800 and fix something that should’ve been fixed the first time. Thanks for your help.

I am sorry to hear that, I guess that is all you can do beside small claims court where you would probably win. It is up to you to decide, car companies are rough.
