I just bought a 1997 Cadillac Deville 4. L gas engine. Each morning when I try to start the car for the first time of the day, it hesitates. I can hear the starter but it won't turn over. After the third time with my foot on the gas it will start. The rest of the day it starts each and every time. PS I'm in Phoenix so it's between 80-85 degrees when I'm trying to start the car in the morning

What you need to do is test the fuel pressure before starting it in the morning to monitor what the fuel pressure does, including what it does when the key is shut off. It sounds like the fuel prime could be siphoning back into the tank overnight possibly due to a faulty check valve in the fuel pump.
