My mother-in-law's compressor's clutch will not engage. Until I get it to my house I cannot reach the electrical plug to the clutch to see if it is getting voltage nor can I reach the clutch to see if the compressor is frozen. The system pressure is good and jumping the low pressure switch causes no change. The dash readout says the ac pressure is low and the compresser is not on. The fuse is good. I set the controls to call for cooling. I thought about swapping the fuel pump relay with the compressor relay but I need the car at my house in case anything kills the relays.
Any suggestions?
