Car window motor

Hi I have a '95 Buick Skylark. The drivers side window motor is shot and needs to be replaced. Wondering if it could be replaced with a motor from the rear window? If it can would it matter if the back window only goes down half way because of the child safety or does that not have anything to do with the motor itself?

No it is a different motor. I think that motor is made on the regulator and you must replace both. The other day I bought on at the "Zone" and the entire regulator and motor was cheaper than a motor alone about $125.00
