Just replaced the catalitic converter and had the fuel system flushed. Drove away and noticed that now the rpm idle is 1500 rpm all the time except when I first start it. Then it is around 900 rpm but after 2 miles of driving it goes up to 1500 again and stays that high all the time. I disconnected the batery to reset the computer and nothing. It did not do this before I replaced the cat and the fuel system flush.

Clean out the idle air control valve and test throttle position sensor, also look for vacuum leaks

With the kind of mileage you have on that one I might suspect some pretty severe wear in the throttle plates, throttle body housing and shafts that would lead to a very unstable idle due to the inability to control idle air bleed.
If you just did a fuel injection service, they may have cleaned the throttle body which would have exaggerated what I'm referring to.
