Before I replace the gasket at the oil pan of the Regal (Non-supercharged), was wondering if there has been a problem with this car somehow on that gasket. It's sort of tough to see if it may be coming from somplace else. Does this car have any sort of history of dripping oil from that gaskget or any place else I should look? Also, coudl something else have caused the problem.

I've never had a car drip from the oil pan before. Usually its from the oil covers, head gasket, oil sending switch.

Hi:
chances are it's coming from the valve cover gaskets. What I would do is get a can of engine cleaner, take the car to the local car wash, follow the directions on the can and clean all of the oil off the engine. After that, keep an eye on the engine to determine where the leak is coming from.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
