Hi, when the problem occurs, check the starter circuit. The purple wire at starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the crank position. If it isn't hot, the possibilities are the neutral switch-- ignition switch--security system-- wiring circuit. If it is hot and no starter action, check the starter field terminal for voltage. Some of the national brand autostores will test the starter for you, but, you have to take it off and take it to them. Also, make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. When the problem occurs, did you try cranking in neutral?
