My air condition fan quite. Firsts it continued to run even after the key way off. I unpluged fan pluged it back up and turned key on and it worked. When I got back in it that afternoon it would not work. I have replaced the fan motor, checked fuses, replaced module. Now I have found out it has a fan motor resistor. It is quite expensive and I have no ideal if I can replace it or where its located. Any help or pointers you can give me would be appriciated.

Thanks

Paul Brown

Are we talking about the condenser fan or the blower motor, if its the blower motor is doesn't have a resistor, you have replaced the blower control module -check fuse no.2 10amp in the relay center and also fuse no.3 30amp in the underhood fuse box if okay your problem is coming from the HVAC programmer

When I turn off my car the blower continues to run. I understand that I need to replace the blower module. My question is where the module located and where can I find a cheap replacement?

Have you already checked the blower motor relay? It could also cause this to happen. Try websites such as ebay. Com or craigslist for used parts and call around local salvage yards as well.

Why don't you try removing the blower motor relay and see what happens could be sticking internally
