Electrical problem 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 183550 miles

The AC/Heater blower motor runs all the time even with ignition off. Had to remove 30 amp fuse in engine compartment to shut off blower motor. Electrical diagram shows 30 amp fuse powers a blower motor relay. Found 6 relays under the fuse bank in engine compartment. With 30 amp fuse reinstalled disconnected each relay one at a time. The blower motor still keeps running. Could not find any more relays in the engine compartment. Please tell me where the AC/Heater blower motor relay is.

Thank you.

It sounds like you have a relay stuck on, here is its location so you can remove and replace it.

Hello,

I have seen where the fan speed control module will short out causing the fan to stay one as well. Here is a diagram that will show you where it is.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Cab fan heater/air conditioner fan - continues to run after key switch is shut off, and key taken out of iginition. I disconnected the battery and let the car sit over night, and then re-connected the battery in the morning, upon re-connection the fan took off running again.

That red and purple wire are touching, you have remove the relays and it still come on, but when your remove the fuse it stops-The fuse is powered at all time thru the red wire if it touches the purple wire the blower motor will continuesly run-this is what's happening

On the center rear of the engine compartment you will find the blower control module. It has a purple wire gray wire with a black stripe a black wire and red wire. Unolug it and see if the blower motor shuts off? Also a multi meter would be great to test some things.

My heater fan stays on high speed even when the ignition is off and key removed. I think it is the blower motor resistor/module that has failed. Can you tell me if this is true and if so how to get to the module?
