Sometimes when I turn the car on, I get all of the dash lights and such, but the car doesn't turn-over / start. Basicly nothing happens. Now I was told be a friend, that I could leave the key in the on position for 8 - 10 minutes, and then turn it off, then try it, and it should work... Well that does work, that's the good news.
The bad is, it seems to be taking longer each time I have to do this. After doing it, I can go 10 - 30 times starting the car like nothing every happened, but then, back to no start.
Now the only thing I've noticed is the security light seems to stay on when ever this happens, and when leaving the key turned on, once that light goes out, I can re-start the car.
Do I need a new ignition switch or what?

My wife and family tell me to get a new car... We'll see.
I love this car. It's the 3rd one I've owned (my first one had 331,000 TROUBLE free miles on it. And if not for the frame and such, I'd still be driving it.
